| Two
things should come to mind when you hear the name Dennis Stanley:
Professionalism and Customer Satisfaction.
Dennis is a veteran of the real estate business with over 30 years of service to the Au Gres area. His journey began in 1973 when he obtained his license at the age of 18. His educational background includes the Russell Real Estate Institute, Delta College and the University of Michigan, but his most important schooling came from his father Pete, who taught him the ropes of the business and molded the values and strong ethics that he practices today. Dennis is a firm believer in emphasizing the "service" in service industry, which is without doubt, the backbone of the real estate profession. He believes in treating the customer with respect, honesty and integrity. Regardless if the meeting is a walk-in consultation, a listing appointment or a closing, Dennis strives to assure that they leave with a good feeling about their interaction with him, and he instills that same belief into his agents. He understands the necessity of involvement with the board that governs your area. Dennis has been greatly involved with the Northeastern Board of REALTORs over the years, and served as President in 2004. He is active I making sure that the real estate industry remains proactive in bringing satisfaction to it’s customers and to the members of the industry. Dennis is very active civically in the Au Gres area. His two major devotions of time have been to the local Knights of Columbus and the Au Gres Lions Club, where he served two terms as president. He has served as K of C Grand Knight and is still active with them today, in addition to nine years service on the church’s parish council. In addition, he is a member of the Au Gres Area Chamber of Commerce and the Au Gres Men’s Club. For fun, Dennis enjoys following baseball, basketball and football, from the high school level through the Pro’s. If you want to strike up a conversation with Dennis, just mention the Tigers, especially the 1968 or 1984 World Series teams. Another of Dennis’ passions is music. Attending concerts and plays are a great reliever of stress. He loves all kinds of music, and his years as a part-time DJ were a great way to keep in touch with something he valued so much. Although he is no longer actively working as a DJ, you can occasionally find him playing music free of charge for a civic event in the area. Family time is very important in Dennis’ life. He is married to wife Joan since 1976 and they have two children, John and Christina. John is a recent graduate of Northwood University and has begun his career as a third generation REALTOR, while Christina is currently a student at Central Michigan University pursuing a teaching degree, and will graduate in 2008. |

Working
with buyers and sellers comes naturally to Tim. Raised as a third
generation Real Estate Professional, he learned early the definition of
"Customer Service" and what it takes to provide it. It is
something he has been providing for over 25 years to buyers and sellers on
the "Sunrise Side" of Michigan, and was recognized for in 1997
by the franchise with which he was formerly licensed.
"Being a good listener" is one of the strongest skills a REALTOR can offer buyers and sellers. "If you don’t understand their goals, you can’t fulfill their needs" is a motto Tim lives by. He also believes the Internet has helped elevate the process of marketing properties to a science. "Potential buyers can preview a limitless number of offerings from the comfort of their own homes, saving themselves much of the preliminary expense in locating a new primary, vacation or retirement home." Tim is also experienced in site plan, campground, dockage, and housing condominium development and sales, and the marketing of commercial offerings. As a former business owner, he understands the decisions involved in marketing a business a seller has built from "the ground up." In recognition of his work within his local REALTOR association, he was designated REALTOR of the Year in 1994 by his peers at the Northeastern Board of REALTORs. Over the years, he has served his community through his membership in the local Jaycee’s and Kiwanis organizations, the Volunteer Fire Department, and served on several committees within the government of the City of Au Gres including Planning Commission and TIFA. In his personal time, Tim enjoys local short track racing on the weekends, and restoring his 1979 L-82 Corvette. |

Barb
became a REALTOR 4 1/2 years ago after a 34-year career between the
Departments of Attorney General in Lansing and the Standish Maximum Correctional
Facility. Coordinating the litigation process at both departments has
given her a broad expertise in attention to detail that carries naturally
into the real estate forum. Experience from other property ventures,
including former ownership of rental properties and as proprietor of a 7
bedroom Guest House, adds to a natural interest of service in the
industry. This is Barb's third year serving on the Board of the Northeaster Board of REALTORs, the last two of which she has held the position of Secretary/Treasurer. Attendance at real estate leadership conferences and conventions sponsored by the Michigan Association of REALTORs and earning her e-Pro designation is indicative of Barb's enthusiasm to continue to grow professionally. Involvement in church music programs began at the age of 12 and continues. She turns to her piano for long-awaited personal enjoyment, and writing music is her newest personal discovery. Chicago and Portland, Oregon are favorite destinations for Barb to visit her children and grandchildren. And when not showing houses, you’re likely to find her on one of the many local golf courses! |
